Boa Morte – Quinta Grande – Half-day Tour

The small, slightly higher situated village of Boa Morte is the starting point of this easy levada hike, which offers magnificent views of the south coast. Boa Morte is easily accessible from Funchal and Caniço de Baixo. Through pine and eucalyptus forests, past tiny, partly overgrown terraced gardens, but always with sea views, you walk along the Levada do Norte. The levada then ends in Quinta Grande, a small village near the Cabo Girao cliff.
