Stand-up paddleboarding is one of the most accessible ways to explore Madeira’s coastline at your own pace. From a paddleboard, you’re at eye level with the water — which changes the experience of the island’s sea caves, rock formations, and sheltered coves entirely. Our SUP sessions cover instruction for beginners and guided coastal tours for those who want to explore further along the southern coast.
Madeira’s sheltered southern bays offer calm, clear water ideal for paddleboarding, particularly in the summer months. The transparency of the Atlantic water here means you can often see the rocky seabed several metres below, along with fish and occasional passing marine life. Sessions run year-round, with equipment, wetsuit, and instruction all included.
