My Madeira – Our Top Madeira Highlights

Pedro

No question about it! Madeira must be discovered by bike. I love being out in the fresh air every day, from east to west, south to north, Madeira is an absolute paradise for bikers. My passion is downhill and enduro. I know the island like the back of my hand and that's why I enjoy cycling along the Levadas (waterways) with you. We have great bike tours for beginners, advanced and pros. Let's discover the island together and join me for Easy Trail Experience, Cross Country/ All Mountain or Enduro.

Fabricio

My passion is canyoning - Madeira is one of the top 5 canyoning destinations worldwide. If you love pure nature and want to discover Madeira off the beaten track, then you've come to the right place. Evergreen, enchanted canyons await you, some of which are challenging. Everyone gets their money's worth, whether you're a beginner or a person with experience, let yourself be surprised, we have more than 130 canyons surrounded by an immense nature waiting for you.

Mara

My comfort zone is the sea, so I love to go snorkeling right in the underwater nature reserve, but as Madeira offers so much, I also enjoy hiking through the enchanted laurel forests, always with the fantasy in my head that the next Hobbit is just around the corner. So that you can enjoy Madeira to the full, I'm responsible for organizing your excursions and I'm already looking forward to sharing my insider tips with you.

Antonio

Whether on land or water, I am at home everywhere and an absolute all-rounder. Whether it's canyoning, kayaking, snorkeling, mountain biking or coasteering. Madeira is a huge playground for me, which I love to discover together with you. My highlight: Come with me to kayak & snorkel along Madeira's steep cliff.

Odete

My heart belongs to Madeira - even though I lived in England for many, many years, my soul has always remained Madeiran. My insider tip for you: Besides the magnificent laurel forest landscapes, you should do a coastal hike in the north-east of the island and join our great jeep safari tours “off road”.

Sittika

Let’s get in the water! My passion is snorkeling, freediving and scuba diving. The warm foothills of the Gulf Stream (year-round water temperature 18°C - 24°C) and the protected habitat offer a biodiversity that can almost be compared to tropical waters. Tube eels as far as the eye can see, parrotfish, trumpetfish, pufferfish, triggerfish and black coral make for a truly exotic ambience. Large fish such as giant groupers, mackerels, barracudas, rays and - with a bit of luck - manta rays or a monk seal can also be seen on the house reef of Manta Diving. I would be happy to show you the beautiful underwater world of Madeira.
